FAQs
The mains voltage is very high – how will this affect my AVS?
Answer:
The AVS will protect your equipment against over-voltage (high input voltage), and will switch the output off if the voltage is outside the 185V to 265V limit. The maximum input voltage into the AVS is 320V but it is able to cope with slightly higher voltages for very short periods of time. If how ever the voltage stays high for any period of time then the AVS will sustain damage, but at no time will the output turn on until the input voltage is safe again.
